The first major battle wasn't fought in space or time — it was fought through them. The Abyssal Coalition surrounded the Concordance stronghold from every conceivable dimension, creating a state of quantum entrapment. Reality fragmented. Inside the citadel, millennia passed in what seemed like days to outside observers. Outside, seconds stretched into subjective eternities for the besiegers.

The siege finally broke when an entity known only as "The Architect" revealed a hidden pathway through the underlying substrate of reality, allowing Concordance reinforcements to attack the besiegers from within their own formations — an ontological ambush that defied conventional physics.

Perhaps the most incomprehensible phase of the conflict was the Probability Wars — campaigns fought across quantum superpositions where victory and defeat existed simultaneously until observed. Armies existed in states of potentiality rather than actuality. Generals became quantum strategists, manipulating wave functions instead of troops.

The Battle of Schrödinger's Nexus redefined warfare. Neither faction could claim victory because neither faction could establish what "victory" meant in a theater where all outcomes existed in superposition. The Probability Wars ended not with a winner but with mutual exhaustion — and the dawning recognition that the war itself was consuming the reality both sides claimed to be fighting to protect.
