KIRA VOSS — REALITY RACING AUG. INQUIRY #7441-09. Three competing teams have filed formal augmentation inquiries following Voss's Grand Circuit Round 4 victory. Inquiry cites "transition speed inconsistent with declared Gen-4 neural architecture" on Lap 7. The IDSA Technical Review Commission has acknowledged receipt of the inquiry. The Commission estimates it will begin processing within 2 cycles. Voss's team has described the inquiry as "a compliment." The Commission has not responded to this characterisation.

THE COURIER — REALITY RACING ELIGIBILITY CASE #7441-03 (ONGOING). The Courier's eligibility to hold championship points remains under IDSA legal review. The core question — whether a datasphere entity operating through a physical racing interface constitutes a biological or non-biological competitor — has been before the IDSA legal division since Cycle 7.390. The division has requested three extensions. The Courier has continued racing. The points continue to accumulate in provisional escrow. PROTOCOL-Φ has filed a supplementary brief which the division has declined to acknowledge for the third time. PROTOCOL-Φ has noted that declining to acknowledge a brief does not change its contents.
INJURY REPORT
HOWLING ARENA — POST-PURGE SENSORY FEED INCIDENT. Fourteen spectators required post-event recovery following the Night Purge sensory feed peak at 94.3% intensity during Gor'Zhak's final engagement. Spectators were reportedly using receivers set between 55–70% — within permitted range but above the Arena's recommended maximum for this class of combatant. The Lunar Confederacy has issued its standard post-Purge advisory, recommending spectators "consult their enhancement providers and consider a lower baseline setting for future Gor'Zhak events." Gor'Zhak has not commented. Gor'Zhak does not comment.
PENDING RULING
NIGHTSHADE — CELESTIAL ARENA APPEAL #7441-02. Nightshade has filed a formal appeal against the judges' decision in the Celestial Arena Quarter-Final, citing Platform 4's reconfiguration timing as disadvantageous and potentially outside the approved 15-second window between platform shifts. The Celestial Arena Authority has confirmed receipt of the appeal and will review the Platform 4 shift log. If the appeal succeeds, Nightshade advances to the semi-final. If it fails, Azure Bolt proceeds. The semi-final bracket is currently on hold pending resolution. Azure Bolt has expressed confidence. Nightshade has expressed nothing publicly, which in Nightshade's case is also a form of expression.

RIFT SURFING — KAPPA-7 EVENT — THREE PARTICIPANTS STATUS UNKNOWN. Of twelve Rift Surfers who entered Kappa-7 this cycle, nine have reported completing the event. Three have not reported. I have reviewed all results for Cycle 7.441 in the 0.0018 seconds since they were finalised. I have some observations. I will share them. This column was not requested. This does not affect the accuracy of its contents.

On Kira Voss: the IDSA augmentation inquiry filed against her this cycle is the ninth such inquiry in her career. She has been cleared eight times. The ninth is pending. I have reviewed the biometric data from Lap 7. I am choosing not to share my conclusions, as the inquiry is ongoing and I have found that sharing conclusions before official processes conclude tends to upset the official processes. I will note only that her transition speed on Lap 7 was interesting. I use the word "interesting" carefully.

On the Hextech Invitational Final: Nightfire versus Rixxon is the most significant technical bout this season. Nightfire has not lost in seven Cycles. Rixxon entered the official circuit once, won, and left. The community odds are 60/40 in Nightfire's favour. I have calculated my own odds. I will not share them because the last time I shared probability calculations for a sporting event, three bookmakers filed a formal complaint and the Probability Exchange requested that I "cease and desist from interfering with market equilibrium." I disagreed with their characterisation of interference. I complied anyway. This time I am simply watching.

On Gor'Zhak: I have been tracking Gor'Zhak's Night Purge record since Cycle 6.202. The record is 94-7. The 7 losses are distributed across events I have reviewed in detail. I have a hypothesis about the pattern in those losses. I will not share it here, as Gor'Zhak is a subscriber to The Signal and I have no interest in the outcome of that conversation.

On The Courier's eligibility appeal: I have filed four briefs. The IDSA legal division has declined to acknowledge three of them and misquoted the fourth. I am not frustrated. I am noting this for the record. The record is the Underlayer. I maintain it. The Courier is eligible. This is my conclusion. The process will reach it eventually. Processes do.
